EDIE HETTINGER began her dance training, as a young child, in her home state of Maine, and earned her BFA in dance performance from The Ohio State University.  She has worked as a member of Dancentral II, and as a soloist and principal dancer for both The Moving Arts Company, (where she was also taught company classes and chaired the artistic steering committee), and The Columbus Contemporary Dance Company.  She has also performed at the American College Dance Festival, the Ohio Dance Festival and at the National Women’s Studies dance concert as well as in choreography by and under the direction of Mark Taylor, Rick Merrill, Victoria Uris, Stephen Koester, Sally Radell, Bill T. Jones, Sharon Leahey, Robert Small, Richard Burrows, Shir Le Wu, Daniel McCusker and Kelly Donovan among others. Edie choreographs for the children’s musical theater company, Superstar Productions, and is discovering the joy of teaching dance at the Moving Arts Dance School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in Harvard, Massachusetts.  She is delighted for this opportunity to work with Danny and is very grateful for the loving support of her family, especially of her husband Larry.
